Protect People's Ideas

As time goes by many laws for IP come out to protect people's ideas.
There should be more laws for it. Inventors' thoughts must be
protected by laws.
First, IP is unique ideas of inventors or creators. They invest so
much money, efforts and even they put their lives on it to achieve the
things. So IP is the least compensation or rewards for their
endurance. Laws are the only things which can guarantee people's
rights who invented things.
Moreover as the world is globalized, how much each country gets money
can be different depends on IP. Like the continuing conflicts between
Apple and Samsung, they have been prolonging their suit such a long
time is the nation's wealth depends on their idea. Both Apple and
Samsung are the biggest companies in the mobile technology field. So
the influence they give on the U.S and Korea respectively is really
big. The laws between countries will be the best method to avoid any
conflicts in borderless world in the future.
Some people say if IP is too strictly protected by laws, no more
things can be created. They say creation is from modifying the
original things. But if people want to do that, they should do it
under the permission. If somebody intends to earn more money while he
is realizing he is using others' idea, it is stealing. Futhermore I
think things are rather developed than came out from nothing. The
world is getting better based on what we already have. So when people
develop their ideas freely under the original developer's permission.
Futhermore their new ideas also need to be protected by laws.
Like I said people's efforts must be paid fairly in the wide world.
Even though there are already many people care about protecting IP and
the world is becoming sensitive about that, there are not many tools
for that. So it is necessary to make more ways to protect IP.

    No more Depression for Owners
During the Industrial revolution, it was critical to have enough labor and machines to have economic power. But in this modern society the trend is changing. As people are becoming more educated and intelligent than before, it seems like knowledge and creativity are the most useful and valuable resources. Every phase of history people tried hard to protect their recourses. It is time to protect a new form of resource, people’s intellectual property.
IP needs to be protected by laws because it is a unique idea of inventors or creators. They put so much money and effort in achieving their dreams and they spend a big amount of time on development. So it can be said creative work contains creator’s property and it means the product itself is those people’s property. As a result, like people have rights for their private property like house, money or other tangible assets, they should have rights for intellectual property. So if somebody’s idea is copied and used for others’ own benefits, it is the same as deceiving the original creator and it is clearly illegal. So there should be IP laws which state clearly that inventors’ ideas are kept safe and not being used randomly. It is the minimum compensation or kind of rewards for every developer’s efforts and endurance.
There is another problem when IP is not properly protected. As the world is globalized, people can easily access to information from other countries. But if there are no proper rules for using other’s thoughts or ideas, there will be big money problems. A country will lose their money if there is IP violation. For example if laws for IP are not so strict and people from country A keep using ideas from country B without any permission, it means A country takes away money from country B. We do not know the result yet but there have been the conflicts between Apple and Samsung for a long time. Both Apple and Samsung are the biggest companies in the mobile technology field. So the influence they give on the U.S and Korea respectively is so huge. The reason this case is so complicated is because people know each company’s profit, or moreover, each country’s wealth depends on how the suit will be over.
Some people say if the laws for protecting IP are too strict, no more creative products will be made. They say modifying originals encourages creation or development. But if people want to change things which already exist, they should do that after getting permission from the original makers. Because as I said above, if somebody intends to earn money while he realized using others’ idea, it is stealing. And if people try changing original things under the developer's permission and find something better or newer, they can also have their own IP for the new ideas and ask the government to protect their ideas by laws. So it is not true that IP protection will decrease the rate of inventing.
Like I said people's intellectual products must be paid fairly. As the world is changing very fast and people are getting sensitive about protecting their own ideas, each government should legislate against usage of others’ ideas without permission. Even though there are already a number of people who care about IP, there are still not enough ways to protect people’s ideas. So it is necessary to figure out more ways to avoid IP related problems.
