Big and little things in life

 

 

            Happiness is the most human and natural feeling a person can experience. Some people may spend their whole lives looking for it. Some others might find it near them, and of course, it can be caused by different things. For me, happiness can be caused by infinite reasons, but mainly by three: other people to connect with, doing what we really love, and enjoying the little things in life.

            The first thing that causes happiness is social relationships. Being surrounded by people we love and that makes us feel better can increase our level of happiness. Having someone near us who we can talk to, laugh and experience with make us realize that we are not alone and that there are people we can really connect with, not only mentally, but emotionally and physically. It also makes us feel as part of something and that we belong. If we meet the right people, life can become so much more splendid.

            The second reason that causes happiness is doing what we love. Doing what we love can be studying something we have always wanted to, getting a job that we love, or simply having a hobby. Doing what we love can not only improve ourselves as persons, but also make us proud if we have positive results and get acknowledged by someone. On the other hand, doing what we love can make us feel complete and that we really have a purpose in life. It also gives us satisfaction and fulfillment, because we realize that this is, effectively what we want to do in life.

            The third reason that I can think of is the little things in life. When we think about what can bring us happiness, "big words" come to our minds, like "success", "love", or even "money" for some others. Then, what about the little things in life? The things we ignore because we have other things to do and because they are too common and always there. Like the colorful flowers that show up in the spring, or the delicious smell of freshly made bread, or the sound of birds singing? These things are also the ones that can bring us happiness, and make us feel really alive, that we are human and that we are definitely in a beautiful world.

            In conclusion, happiness is caused by three main things. The first one is the social relationships that help us connect with each other. The second one is doing what we really love, which can give us satisfaction and fulfillment. Lastly, but not least, is the little things in life, that we ignore but can also provide us happiness. Whenever there is a moment when you feel unhappy, try to see everything that surrounds you: your family, your friends, or any person you love. When life is hard try to do at least one thing you have wanted to do for yourself but didn't have the opportunity. And, if it is possible, instead of having your eyes on your smartphone, have your eyes on the beautiful flowers that are blooming from the trees! After all, we only have one life to really enjoy.

Causes of Happiness

  Happiness is an emotion of human when people feel satisfy or cheerful of something. It might be every people’s wishes that being happy in their days of lives. But what can make people happy? Simply answer the question, lose some weight, get a new car, or marry someone they love. There are too many things can make people happy, but it is not easy for everyone to feel happy all the time. Thus, it makes people more likely to aspire happiness. In my opinion, the basic happiness is from health, love and living with goals.

  Living with a healthy body is the first element for happiness. People need to be healthy to do things they like. With a healthy body, one can do sports, travel, enjoy his life. However, there are too many examples that people pay much efforts on their work to earn money without taking care about their health. The results for these people is they do not have chance enjoy the happiness which they want to get from wealth. So people should balance their time for work and keep health. Moreover, if people are healthy, they can spend more time with their families and friends. It is also another cause of happiness which comes next.

  The English writer, Sydney Smith, said that, “To love and to be loved is the greatest happiness of existence”. Since ancient times, love always have a miracle power. There are different kinds of love. For instance, love between parents and children, love between friends and love between couples. People can feel happiness from people who love them, and they also can be happy when they love others. Because people who love you will care for you and they will give you a hand if you are in trouble. People will feel lucky that they are able to have people who love them. In other hands, when a person have someone he loves, his life will be richer and more meaningful. Moreover, if the one who he love is happy, he well happy too. Love makes happiness comes easier.

  The last cause of happiness is a bit difficult, living with goals. Living with goals does not mean everyone need to have a lofty ideal for their life. Goals can be temporary and changed. First people can make goals which they are interested in and easier to achieve. Gradually, people can make others goals which is more challenging. There is a greater chance for a person who likes what he does to achieve, and achievement makes people happy. When one is engaged in something, he can get happiness not only from the result but also the process.

  In conclusion, the most three important causes of happiness is a healthy body, a good emotional life and having a objective to achieve. Happiness can be easy to get but also can be difficult to feel. People have only to understand the reasons of happiness to make it easier to get through happy lives.

The Road to Happiness


As the world continues to grow on and on, the society becomes more competitive because each and every person has their own desire and ambition to succeed in this competing economy. However, the more you try to succeed, the more you lose your happiness in your own life. People tend to support their own happiness and joy because they are too focused on the “marathon” of life. So, in order to gain happiness, I believe it is vital to arrange time for hobbies, constantly exercise, and even give thought on how you can have a change in attitude towards your family.

 

           As you try to compete with other “marathon runners” of life, you can tend to forget that you need to make time for your own interests. Hobbies are like the fuel for ambition. It may not be directly related to your real-life goals but they will energize you from the tiring daily life that you pursue. Hobbies are definitely important because they can let you forget the current economic situation you are in. To add more joy to your hobbies, you can have friends to join you in your interest and relieve stress together. As you grow older, there may be a time that you might feel the importance of hobbies and interests.

 

           The next step to achieving happiness is to have a good habit of exercising. Similar to hobbies, exercising can also help your forget your worries and even make you healthier. Also, a person with a healthier body tends to have less stress, more confidence and happiness. A daily warm-up run is always beneficial for your happiness. As you run, you can enjoy the nature, the refreshing air, and a view of the city. These simple factions of the world are surprisingly stress relieving and give you a chance to look at a different perspective of the Earth.

 

           Finally, I believe that changing how you act towards your family is very important. Because the world itself is very selfish, I am pretty sure that a majority of the people act very ignorant towards how other family members will feel. This is a very important matter to consider because a change of attitude can help not just your family members but also yourself. As everyone will agree, if the people around you are happy, you yourself will be happy as well. For example, teenagers might act cold and inconsiderate towards their parents on a regular basis; however, if teenagers consider how their parents might feel and instead give compliments to their parents, parents will be touched. By saying compliments to friends and family, I am sure that they will start to act differently towards you. Giving is caring is what I’d always like to say.

 

           Therefore, providing time for hobbies, daily exercise, and changing how you act towards your family are ways that you can achieve happiness for you and other people. Since the world today is very ambitious, I believe you need to achieve happiness in this tiring society.

Happiness is just around the corner

 

There is no clear definition for happiness as it varies for everyone. For some, happiness means owning a shiny car and luxurious house while it is all about having a happy family for others. Still, we can agree on one thing: people spend their whole lives searching for it. Many people lament that happiness just seems too far away. However, the causes of happiness are not too hard to spot. In fact, they come down to three simple but powerful factors: achievement, love, and having fun.

There is nothing more thrilling than achieving your goals. These goals do not necessarily have to be big; they can be as little as finishing an essay by midnight. After restraining yourself from procrastinating, agonizing over which word to use, and reading through the whole essay for editing, the essay is finally ready for submission. At that very moment you accomplish your goal, the feeling of satisfaction runs through your whole body and you couldn't feel more proud of yourself. Self improvement and a sense of achievement that come from reaching your goals can bring pure bliss.

Love is another cause of contentment. Life is all about relationships and interactions. People feel a sense of belonging by communicating and socializing with others. Hence, we all want to express love to those we cherish and be loved by them. When you are down and your friend tries his best to make you laugh, you feel thankful and blessed. When your friend tells you that he got the job he wanted, you also feel excited and happy. In other words, people find pleasure in building a close relationship with others and sharing love.

There is no doubt that having fun leads to having a peace of mind. What better way to surround yourself with positive vibes than having a wonderful time with people you love? You would be laughing endlessly, relieving all your stress, and making unforgettable memories. When people spend time doing what they love, they do not have a single second to be depressed. Nobody knows when his last day on Earth would be; it might be tomorrow or even worse, tonight. That being said, if you want some joy in your life, enjoy yourself; and it will naturally come to you.

Now that the causes of happiness are revealed, all you have to do is put them into practice. Never stop setting goals in your life because a sense of achievement will always brighten you up. Share as much love as possible; it is like a magic spell that will make you and your loved ones smile. Last but not the least, enjoy every moment of your life. Having fun is something you will never regret, not in a million years. In this way, you will find that your life is full of laughter and contentment. Happiness is just around the corner.

                               Things needed to be happy

 

           It seems more difficult to be happy as our society grows, especially in Korea. Many people are suffering from stress, health problems, and many other negative effects from busy life style; they have lost their relaxed life. Not only this kind of life cause physical problems, but also emotional weakness which both make you unhappy. Then, how could we be happy in this busy society? I approached to an answer to it in my own way after deep thinking of them. That answer was more about metaphysics and mental things than physical and realistic things.

 

           Of course, people can’t always be happy, but you at least try to think you are happy. Even though you are not actually happy, if you keep thinking you are so, you can be happy. It is a kind of self-hypnosis or placebo effect that makes you delude yourself that you are happy. It sounds like quackery, but the effect of hypnosis and placebo has already scientifically proved. So if you do not complain about your given situations and about now how and what you are, but just change your mind in a positive way, such as thinking you are happy, happiness follows you.

 

           Next thing you need to do be happy is to thank for having family, friends, lover, or whatever you have, and love them all. When you feel you love someone or are loved by someone, or get satisfied with your situation, some hormones called didorphin, endorphin, dopamine, and etc., which all makes you feel happier as well as healthier. You can be satisfied by thanking for everything you have got, and not comparing yourself with someone who you are jealous of and envy; and you can feel love when you truly love someone.

 

           Finally, helping people who live financially, or emotionally worse than you also helps you be happy. It could be a sort of the way to love others I said above. When you help them, you see how they live and suffer, and start comparing with you; as a result, you do a self-reflection on what you complain about, and how you are happy now. If helping them regularly, you could be actually a warmer person and you can get satisfied by their improved lives partially because of you, which consequently make you better person to yourself and to others. It also make some people live better and it results in better society. You become happy, and everything goes well; it is absolutely virtuous circle.

 

                     Every key to happy I found does not take you much time to realize because they are rather metaphysical concepts. It, however, first could be very difficult to change your mind in a short period of time because it is the way you have thought and you cannot see and feel if it actually changes. It does not take money to change your way to think and try to be happy with the keys I offered. If it does not take time so that you can do it even in this busy society, and money so that you afford to it, but some effort on it; and what you will get from that effort is not exchangeable with anything in your life, why don't you try? Keep trying, and be happy.

Three Secrets to Be Happy

 

Someone said the life is C (Choice) between B (Birth) and D (Death). Like he said we make decisions every day and the reason why we try to take the best option among we have got is our happiness. But sometimes we make mistakes and be miserable. If you consider the next three things before you make decisions, happiness will always be followed because these are the causes of happiness I think: Doing what you want, strengthening familys relationships and being healthy.

It is said the gifted never win people who enjoy what they do at the end. It means doing what you love not following others blindly is the main point to live happily. Because if you have what you like to do as a job, it brings both goods including money and great relationships with people who share the same interests with you that you do not need to be stressed out thinking how to make friends and earn a lot of money. Also the job itself might be happiness for you. So eventually you become happy by doing what you like. This is the same when you have a habit or do other activities which you like. Then some people might say tangible things like money or a big house are the most important factor to live happily. However if those kinds of things are gotten by doing what people do not really want to do, what they feel is not happiness but just a temporary feeling of achievement and even though it is happiness it must not stay that long.

Strong familys relationship is such great power which contributes to our happiness. From the past family is seen as a basic form of a community and it is the center of every society. So if you have a good relationship with your family members it helps you not to worry about problems among your family so it let you just focus on your own work at a workplace. Also only the truth that family who support whatever you do exists there makes you mentally powerful. And when you get home being with family even reduces stress you get outside so you must feel so relieved and can rely on family and at the end it brings you happiness.

It always cannot be said too often that to keep working out and moving your body to be fit is the most important factor for happy lives. I remember when I had a pain even in one finger it bothered me so much for a while. If you lose your health you cannot take care of any other things and eventually it has effects on two causes above so general happiness will be gone. So the other causes cannot be worked well without strong bodies.  

The reasons of happiness I mentioned above Doing things you are interested in, building positive relationships with your family, and maintaining health look so simple and easy to think of. However those cannot be sustained without continuous self-reflection and considering relationships around you. Happiness might be temporary and hard to achieve but if people keep those three points in their mind I am sure they will live such happy lives and furthermore that positive power will affect others.

Keys to happiness.

   Every person tries to find happiness, feel happiness or be happy forever. However, the concept of happiness is individual for every person. Someone say that happiness is internal state of mind, which does not depend on external life and its circumstances. But others believe that pursuing happiness we don't notice that it is near us all the time. There are three effects that cause happiness in our life: having great state of health, sincere relationship with family and successful career.

   The first important thing that makes people happy is having a great state of health that they must take care of.  Many people don't realize the significance of health until they feel some illness. People who are usually happy and debonair about their life are less likely than others to get ill. Having a good health can bring us many benefits such as opportunity to participate in different activities and improving our productivity which automatically leads to happiness. Therefore it is important to take care of health.

   The second effect of happiness is family. Having family we learn how to love and understand each other, take care of someone, forgive and respect others.  Family always will support us in difficult situations and will be happy for our success or achievement. Family can encourage us to make goals and accomplish them. I believe without family and their support people will never have true happiness.

   Another effect of happiness is successful career. It is not only about what is our position in society and how much money do we earn. It is more about enjoying the work we are doing. According to statistics, people who are doing the work they like are satisfied their life. Therefore doing a job with a big pleasure leads us to happiness.

   In conclusion, if we have sincere relationship with family, great state of health and successful career, our life will bring us happiness. We need to receive love and support, energy and inspiration.
